Cause An Uproar for International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day, also known as Global Tiger Day, is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation.  This annual event, which is held on July 29, highlights the problems facing tigers today and promotes the protection and expansion of wild tiger habitats.

According to Tiger Day.org, all tigers living in the wild could be extinct in 5 years!  It is estimated that tigers have lost 93% of their natural habitat where people and tigers are competing for space.  Climate change poses a major threat, with rising sea levels threatening to wipe our even more of their habitat.  Poaching poses a huge threat with the demand for body parts and fur worldwide.

There are many things that we can do to help protect tigers:

Adopt a Tiger
